Ecliptic Ring
The ring is inspired by the Armillary sphere, a tool for teaching astronomy used by the Greeks in the 3rd century B.C. It consisted of a sphere enclosed in metallic rings: a depiction of Earth and its equator, ellipse, meridians and parallels. Ecliptic Ring is a wedding band composed of four shifting sections that can spread out to form a sphere pendant.

L’anello è ispirato alla sfera armillare, un oggetto usato già nel terzo secolo a.C. dai greci come strumento didattico. Si trattava di una sfera composta da cerchi metallici che rappresentavano l’equatore, l’eclittica, i meridiani e i paralleli con al centro la Terra. Veniva usata per mostrare il movimento delle stelle. Ecliptic Ring è una fede composta da quattro anelli che si schiudono a formare un globo, trasformandosi così in un pendente.
